Another year begins (2019) and I'm still committed to using up fabric I have accumulated over the past maybe 10 years or so. Besides sewing scraps I knitted quite a bit too.
This is the finished sweater I knitted for a friend's baby girl.
I knitted a "bun" hat for a relative.
And here is my first attempt at color work knitting. Knitting with 2 colors at the same time was something I had wanted to try for a long time. Kind of fun, but if you don't leave enough slack, your hat can get pretty tight!
I fell in love with the colors in this ball of yarn!
Finishing up this quilt with a flannel backing. Here I am hand stitching the binding on the back.
All done! Such a warm, cozy quilt.
